John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s VERY extravagant 10th wedding anniversary plans revealed as preparation gets underway in Italy
He is famous for his ballads including the hit Ordinary People – about an everyday couple falling in love.
But there appears to be nothing ordinary about the upcoming lavish 10 year wedding anniversary for John Legend, 44, and his wife Chrissy Teigen, 37.
Preparations are currently underway at the five-star Villa Passalacqua located on Lake Como for their anniversary.
The reason behind choosing Lake Como for their 10-year anniversary is because that’s where they tied the knot.
The stars married on September 14, 2013 in Lake Como at the Villa Pizzo – known as one of the most exclusive wedding locations in Northern Italy.

Chrissy has been teasing the lavish celebration, even coining the hashtag #johnxchrissy for guests to use for any photos or videos.
She shared a snap of her view – a number of umbrella covered areas by the pool: ‘The most perfect day!! 10th anniversary weekend is commmming!!!!’
Staff were seen putting together tables and striped umbrellas over them; there were also clear tents put up.
Other crew were seen bringing in speakers and music equipment for live music.
The Villa Passalacqua is located on the shores of Lake Como; the hotel used to the home of 18th century aristocrats before being transformed into a hotel.
The hotel has seven acres of landscaped gardens, with an orange Spiaggina – a vintage open top Fiat 500 to drive guests around the property.
The gardens and the restaurant within the hotel is only available for guests.
It is located in the area in Lake Como called Moltrasio, located on the Western shore of Lake Como.
The hotel is owned by the De Santis family – who also own the nearby Grand Hotel Tremezzo – also in Lake Como.
The family purchased Villa Passalacqua in 2018, and re-opened it in June 2022 after three years of restoration.
One night at the Villa Passalacqua can range from as low as $2300 to as high as $11,700 (a night).

Chrissy and John married in Lake Como, Italy at the Villa Pizzo on September 14, 2013; they used the event designer Lisa Vorce to plan the wedding.
For their wedding, they had Stevie Wonder perform live, as well as John singing too.
Chrissy wore three custom Vera Wang gowns.
They are parents to four children: Luna, seven, Miles, five, Esti, who turns one in January 2024, and Wren, born in June 2023 via surrogate.
In 2021, Chrissy and John lost their son Jack 20 weeks into her pregnancy. She later revealed that her late son’s passing was the result of a life-saving abortion, not a miscarriage as she originally stated.
She explained that she made the ‘difficult decision’ to terminate the pregnancy after coming to terms with the fact that she nor Jack would likely survive.
‘Let’s just call it what it was: It was an abortion. An abortion to save my life for a baby that had absolutely no chance. And to be honest, I never, ever put that together until, actually, a few months ago,’ Chrissy said, according to THR.

John and Chrissy dated for six years before they tied the knot; John proposed in 2011.
The couple met when she starred in his 2007 video for his song Stereo.
They made their red carpet debut in 2008 at the Grammy Awards.
