Joy Corrigan suffered an awkward mishap on Tuesday when she got her Christian Louboutin heel stuck in an escalator in Los Angeles.

The actress, 27, took to Instagram as she laughed off the issue and shared her embarrassment with her followers and shared a snap of the moment.

Despite the fashion disaster, Joy looked sensational as she posed barefoot beside the escalator with the rogue shoe next to her.

Joy was on the way to the premiere of The Black Phone, where she went braless in a see-through pink top and tiny miniskirt.

Speaking on her Story, Joy gestured to the shoe and explained: ‘On the way to a movie premiere and my shoe stopped the escalator.’

Luckily, Joy was able to recover her shoe and make it to just in time to pose up a storm on the red carpet, where she reassured her followers that her shoe ‘wasn’t damaged that bad.’

Once reunited with her footwear, she completed her all-pink outfit look with a Yves Saint Laurent leather shoulder bag embellished with the brand’s signature monogram and gold Chanel earrings.

Joy wore her bright blonde locks in a sleek bun with face framing sections and opted for a purple eyeshadow with a slick of hot pink lipstick for her bold makeup palette. 

The cast of the film, including Jeremy Davies, Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, and C. Robert Cargill, as well as director Scott Derrickson were also in attendance. 

For the occasion, Jeremy, 52, cut a handsome figure in a black blazer, dress dress shirt, tie and dark-wash jeans.

Meanwhile, Madeline, 13, sported a ruffled, pale yellow dress with silver polka-dots all over it. 

Jordan Isaiah White, Miguel Cazarez Mora, Tristan Pravong, Spencer Fitzgerald, Lily D. Moore also came to watch the film. 

Despite not attending the event, Ethan Hawke portrays the movie’s terrifying character known only as The Grabber, who is responsible for a spate of child abductions in a tight-knit community.

The film’s co-writer/director Scott Derrickson collaborated with his longtime writing partner C. Robert Cargill on the screenplay, which was adapted from Joe Hill’s (the son of Stephen King) short story of the same name.
