Vice President Kamala Harris said Tuesday that she will be on the 2024 ticket should President Joe Biden choose to run for reelection.

‘As the president said, he intends to run. And if he does, I will be running with him,’ she told reporters on board the Philippines Coast Guard ship Teresa Magbanua, as she wrapped up her trip to Asia

Harris refused to answer questions about former President Donald Trump‘s announcement last Tuesday that he would seek the White House again in 2024.

‘I am thinking about right now what we need to do in the Indo-Pacific,’ she answered when asked if Trump’s presidential run was ‘good for the country.’ ‘Thank you for the question,’ she added.

Harris was also asked if she believed the Democratic ticket could beat Trump for a second time, a question she ignored.

She did tout the Biden administration’s record, telling reporters, ‘I have no doubt about the strength of the work that we have done over these past two years.’

‘We have delivered unprecedented relief for the American people during the pandemic,’ she said. ‘We have passed an infrastructure law that many are talking about – we actually did.’

Trump periodically scheduled an ‘infrastructure week’ at the White House, but it became a running joke because it usually coincided with some scandalous revelation.

Harris also lauded the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act – which includes prescription drug and climate initiatives – and that the Democrats squeezed through the Senate in August before the midterms.

During the same gaggle, which took place before she and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff boarded Air Force Two en route to Los Angeles, she didn’t commit to hitting the campaign trail again for Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock.

‘I haven’t made any decision yet … I’m basically still trying to figure out what I’m doing tomorrow,’ she said.

Former President Barack Obama plans to stump for Warnock on December 1, as the Georgia Democrat again has to run in a runoff election.

Neither Warnock nor the Trump-backed Republican Herschel Walker got above the 50 percent plus one threshold in the November election to win the Senate seat outright, so they’ll face off on the ballot again next month.
