Cover up like Kate wearing a Saks Potts coat

When you think of outerwear by Saks Potts, your mind will instantly go to the coveted ‘Foxy’ coat, but it’s time to make room for the newest style on our wish list – the ‘Alexa’ coat!

Kate Hudson stepped out in this navy leather trench coat, and it instantly piqued our interest. We especially love the beige shearling and attention to detail with the double-breasted design and off-centre front.

Fortunately, if you’re looking for a new winter coat this season, Kate’s is available to buy at Selfridges.

You will have to splash the cash, so if you’re after something a little more affordable, head to the carousel. We’ve spotted dupes from Reiss, Reserved and Nasty Gal.

Speaking on the radio show, Kate said the film was ‘a blast’ to make and said she became good friends with all the cast on the show.

She explained: ‘It was Covid, so we had to bubble up but we were in the most amazing locations in Greece. We all were pinching ourselves the whole time.

‘And Rian Johnson, who’s just incredible, put this amazing group of people together, who ended up absolutely loving each other and adoring each other.

‘We had so much fun. And that was great because it was hard, long hours, hard work – but when it was time to play we were all really excited to hang out with each other. And that’s actually rare that everyone is so connected.’

She added: ‘There was no ego on this movie. Which was really refreshing because there’s always one.’

Speaking on her character in the film, she said: ‘Birdie is a very loud, flamboyant, very tone-deaf, uncensored and quite ignorant woman, who is a fashionista and she is brought to this island by their billionaire friend and that’s what brings us there. Then everything starts to happen.’

She went on: ‘I feel like it really plays on a lot of interesting themes and this concept of power and what that makes people do.

‘I think everyone will be able to relate to these characters and see someone they know of, or they know in the news.’

On working with Daniel Craig, Kate said: ‘He’s wonderful, he’s just such a wonderful person to work with. You never know what people will bring, but he’s is the best!

‘He’s self-deprecating and very goofy and wonderful to watch. Watching him was pretty incredible, there was some moments that were very fun for us to witness him doing. But his physical comedy is what gets me.’
