Katharine McPhee and her husband David Foster looked loved-up as ever before performing together at a CBS Holiday show at The Grove in Los Angeles on Sunday. 

The actress, 38, looked every inch the doting as she held her son Rennie before taking to the stage with the music mogul, 73.

The dynamic duo, who are releasing a Christmas album in a couple of weeks, regaled the audience with some seasonal numbers at the event.

David provided his wife with piano accompaniment while she relished in the spotlight and showed off her vocal talents.

Katharine looked glamorous in a white figure-hugging gown with puff sleeves, teamed with silver heels.  

She opted for a bronzed makeup look with a nude lip, while styling her brunette tresses up in a neat bun. 

Meanwhile, David cut a dapper figure in a black blazer and crisp white shirt, teamed with matching trousers and a Louis Vuitton scarf.

David and Katharine met in 2006 when he served as a mentor to a group of contestants including her on American Idol.

The season that brought them together aired from January to May 2006, during which time Katharine turned 22 and David was 56.

Over the course of his five marriages, David has welcomed six children – Allison, 52, Amy, 49, Sara, 41, Erin, 40, and Jordan, 36, and Rennie, one.

Katharine and David have drawn a great deal of attention for their age gap, which is so wide that she is younger than four of her stepdaughters.

Nick Carter and sister Angel appeared to be trying to embrace the holiday spirit as they gathered together at the event. 

On November 5, Aaron was found dead in his bathtub in his home in Lancaster, California.

He was cremated, with his ashes to be held by his twin sister, Angel, according to TMZ, who obtained the singer’s death certificate.

The document says that it was his mother, Jane, was the first to inform authorities about her son’s tragic passing.

The death certificate does not specify Aaron’s cause of death. 

Former child star Aaron spent his life blighted by drug addiction. it was reported law enforcement found prescription pills and cans of compressed air in the bathroom where he died. He claimed he was nearly five years sober before his death.

Following her sibling’s tragic passing, Angel paid a heartbreaking tribute to her brother on Instagram.

‘To my twin… I loved you beyond measure. You will be missed dearly. My funny, sweet Aaron, I have so many memories of you and I, and I promise to cherish them,’ she wrote.

Angel continued: ‘I know you’re at peace now. I will carry you with me until the day I die and get to see you again.’ 

Aaron’s brother, former Backstreet Boys member Nick, also wrote about his brother on social media. 

He wrote:’Very grateful for the outpour[ing] of love and support for my brother. In his memory, a donation fund has been started to benefit @onoursleevesofficial, an important children’s mental health charity helping families across America,’ Nick said.

The singer posted a link to the On Our Sleeves website where fans can make donations.

Nick also said: ‘Thank you for choosing to celebrate the impact of the life of Aaron Carter with a gift of hope. By honoring Aaron, you help Nick, Angel, and their family’s commitment of helping others.’
