Kim Kardashian highlights her flawless skin in build up to SKKN by Kim launch… as she seemingly expresses frustration in a cryptic post

Kim Kardashian showed off a good amount of her skin in a social post promoting the launch of her new skincare line, SKKN by Kim, Saturday.

The 41-year-old displayed her toned abs and legs in a nude tone crop top and ruched mini-skirt as she posed provocatively against a muted industrial background for the ad, writing, ‘3 more days until @skkn.’

The reality star went totally makeup free  to display her flawless and well cared for complexion in a tutorial video, that appeared to be shot in her spa-like bathroom, on how to use the nine-step system with celebrity aesthetician Joanna Czech.

It includes a cleanser, toner, exfoliator, hyaluronic acid serum, vitamin C serum, face cream, eye cream, oil drops and night oil.

The price point for the entire system, which will be available June 21, comes to $630.

According to a SKKN press release, the line is ‘grounded in the brand’s ethos of sustainability’ regarding ingredients and packaging.

However, information about ingredients has not been made available and fans who have been keeping track up the upcoming launch have voiced concern about claims of sustainability. 

A video posted on the SKKN Instagram page appears to demonstrate what this ‘refillable’ packaging looks like, as a pump-bottle, which could be refilled is placed into an outer package.

One follower asked, ‘Please correct me if I’m missing something, Why does that standalone pump with a dispenser need to go into another container?’

The entrepreneur shared a quote expressing some sort of frustration at the end of an Instagram stories post focused mostly on the cosmetics, sharing a quote from Pawan Nair at The Higher Self which read, ‘Realest s*** I ever read: “People pray for the cake. Then the Universe gives them the batter, oil, icing, a pan, an oven, they get frustrated and leave the kitchen.” Let that sink in. Sometimes you have everything right in front of you, but how bad do you want it?’ 

The post was subsequently deleted and replaced with an endorsement of the line by beauty influencer Kornelija Slunjski. 

The Kardashians star’s fellow trendsetter, Hailey Bieber, launched her own Rhode line on June 15.

The model’s five product line includes Barrier Restore Cream, Peptide Glazing Fluid, Peptide Lip Treatment in three flavors for an initial offering of $95.

It’s not clear how soon those products will actually be in customers’ hands.

Fans of the the glamor girl’s ‘glazed donut’ look will have to join a waitlist to buy them, according to the company website.
