The entrepreneur, TV host, author, and mother of three owns her own small jewelry business called Uncommon James which is sold via the online retailer Amazon.
Through launching her own brand, Cavallari has learned how significant it is for small and medium-sized businesses to sell on the massive online retailer.
In an interview with WWD earlier this week Cavallari opened up about how she recently teamed up with Amazon to highlight small businesses, independent makers, creatives, innovators, and small shops, with a list of her gift recommendations for holiday shopping lists.

Cavallari is reminding fans that with major retailers offering so many great deals in stores and online, it can be hard to remember to shop small and support local businesses whenever possible.
‘As an entrepreneur myself, I know how meaningful and special it is to support small businesses on Amazon because these entities are dealing with blood, sweat, and tears, and the holiday season can make a huge difference for them,’ Cavallari said.
‘Once businesses get to a certain level, they’re just seen as a machine, and a shopper isn’t necessarily making a difference in someone’s life by purchasing through a major retailer like they would if they mindfully supported a small business that is hustling and grinding.’
Keeping it real about how amazing she looks: Recently during an Instagram Live Q-and-A with her fans, she was asked, ‘Are your boobs real? They look amazing! (Jealous mom of 2 here)’
