Glindas unite! Kristin Chenoweth and Ariana Grande sing Over the Rainbow in stunning TikTok duet

Kristen Chenoweth joined forces with Ariana Grande on Sunday, singing a gorgeous duet of Over the Rainbow for TikTok.

29-year-old Grande originally posted a solo video of her singing the iconic ballad, leading Chenoweth, 54 – who nearly spilled out of her skintight dress last week – to add on her own vocals and make some magic happen.

Ariana will be starring in the film adaptation of Wicked as Glinda – a part that launched Kristin into stardom on Broadway nearly two decades ago.

The petite divas both wore pink in their TikTok, with Kristin draping herself in what appeared to be a yeti coat while a crocheted slanket enveloped Ariana’s arms and head.

Kristen let her blonde locks flow free and Ariana’s porcelain skin glowed with star power.

‘You know I just had to duet this one,’ Chenoweth captioned the TikTok. ‘Over the [rainbow emoji] with my baby girl.’

‘Just two Ozians,’ Chenoweth added in the caption, referencing the magical land of Oz that their character Glinda inhabits.

With their powerhouse vocals melting together as one, the Grammy winners sent TikTok ablaze.

Chenoweth’s comments section filled with wonder and awe as her 1.3 million followers showered the video with love.

And one fan in particular left a very special comment: ‘I love you with all my heart,’ penned Grande.

‘Baby!’ proclaimed Chenoweth. ‘It’s mutual.’

Back in 2021 when the Thank U, Next superstar was announced as the new Glinda, Kristin said: ‘I’m not sure if I’ve ever been this proud. From the very first day I met you, you were destined for this role.’

Chenoweth recently sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live and said that Grande will ‘put her own stamp’ on the part that made her a star.

When the Bravo host asked whether she spoke to Grande about the role, the Emmy winner replied: ‘Yeah, I do. She’s going to put her own stamp on it. I’m so proud of her. I wanted her to do her Glenda. And that’s what she’s doing. I’m proud of her.’

Wicked will be split into two films, released one year apart, according to director Jon M. Chu.

During her WWHL interview, Andy asked Kristin: ‘How do you feel about the Wicked movies being split into two? Is there enough for two?’

‘There’s so much more in the books that we know about the characters, so yeah, there is,’ the Tony winner replied. ‘And I haven’t read anything, but I think so. I think there is enough.’

Filming is shrouded in secrecy, but excitement surrounding Wicked only continues to grow.
