In fighting shape! Bikini-clad Lara Trump, 40, shows off muscular physique as she scoops bronze medal at Florida triathlon after finishing in impressive 1hr 19mins
- Lara Trump came in an impressive third place at a Florida Triathlon
- Despite earning a bronze medal, the former news commentator left the event before the awards ceremony
- This show of athletic prowess comes on the heels of her recent defense of her father-in-law against ageist critics
Bikini-clad Lara Trump, 40, placed third for her age-group at the Tampa General Hospital Loggerhead Triathlon, finishing in an impressive 1 hour and 19 minutes.
Dressed in a Betty Design athletic bikini top and pink-and-black triathlon short, the wife of Eric Trump did a three-mile (five kilometers) run, 3/8-mile swim and 13-mile bike ride at Carlin Park in Jupiter, Florida.
Her Argon 18 bicycle costs between $2,000-$10,000.
She was seen taking photos with friends or fans following the race, but was not present to receive her award despite a cheering crowd.
Lara’s appearance in the competition comes days after she defended her father-in-law, former president Donald Trump against those who claimed he and other politicians are too old to lead the country in their 70s.
The athlete insisted Donald, who listed his stats at 6’3 and 215lbs at his latest criminal arraignment, is ‘very young’ during an appearance at the Newsmax network.
The mother-of-two showed off her incredibly athletic physique and seemed to be serious but also enjoy the game.
The former television producer defended her father-in-law against age-shamers on September 2.
‘Donald Trump is a very young 77 years old proving that there are different situations and that yes, for some, age is just a number,’ she said.
During the conservative news outlet show she hosted, Lara contrasted Donald with Joe Biden who ‘looks more and more unable to hold the highest office in the land.’
Also at the show last month, Lara predicted the mugshot of her father-in-law will be on posters, dorm rooms and flags owned by ‘people who love this country.’ The former president and 18 other defendants were charged by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on August 14 on RICO and other charges.
Lara Trump has left Fox News last year after her father-in-law Donald’s announcement of a White House 2024 run because of the network’s longstanding rule banning contributors from being linked to active campaigns.
