She’s been a household name in Australia for almost two decades.

But Leila McKinnon, 49, could easily have been mistaken for a woman half her age as she filmed the new season of Australian Ninja Warrior on Monday.

The Channel Nine star stunned in an orange suit jacket and matching coloured pants while on the set of the show.

She completed her look with a pink shirt and a pair of white stilettos.

Leila left her long blonde locks out and let her natural beauty shine, by opting for a neutral palette of makeup.

The new season of Australian Ninja Warrior is set to premiere on Channel Nine and 9Now on Monday, June 27, at 7.30pm.

It will see celebrities take on the new obstacle course competing for charity. And for the first time, teenagers will compete against adult Ninjas.

Nine has revealed athletes as young as 16 and 17 will be part of the show’s revamped format, Attack of the Teens, reports TV Blackbox.

The teen Ninjas will face-off against fan favourites Zak Stolz, Fred Dorrington, Ashlin Herbert, Ben Polson and Olivia Vivian, among others, as they compete on the show’s famous over-sized obstacle course.

Leila will co-host the 2022 season with tennis champion Jim Courier.

They are joined by radio hosts Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw, of the Will and Woody drive show on KIIS FM, who will act as sideline commentators.

Contestants who make it through the bone-crushing course will face a knock-out competition in the semi-finals in a series of one-on-one showdowns – another first for the series.

Winning Ninjas will go straight to the Grand Final, while the losers will be sent home.

The top prize for this year’s season will be $100,000, with an additional $100,000 for the Ninja who can make it to the top of Mt Midoriyama in the fastest time.
