Lisa Vanderpump reveals she has NOT had ‘any contact’ with Raquel Leviss since the Vanderpump Rules reunion
Lisa Vanderpump revealed she has not spoken to Raquel Leviss since filming the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion, which was taped on March 23.
When asked if there was a place for the former pageant queen and Tom Sandoval to ‘exist in the Vanderpump Rules universe’ following their months-long affair, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 62, told ET that she hasn’t ‘had any contact with Raquel.’
‘I think she really needs to discuss with us what’s going on in her life, but Sandoval’s been part of that group for 15 years prior,’ the mother-of-two said. ‘You know, four years prior to the show.’
Due to his history on her television show, and their business partnerships, the TV personality said she hopes Sandoval can get ‘get to that place’ with his castmates again.
‘That’s what I really hope for them,’ she said of both Sandoval, 39, and Leviss, 28. ‘I don’t think you can just shut the door on somebody. I think we’re all guilty of some things… maybe not that. But I think at some point, there needs to be kind of discussions, and I think we’ll be there for it.’
The Dulwich native also confessed that watching Wednesday’s finale of Vanderpump Rules was ‘hard to watch.’
‘Well, it was so emotional,’ Vanderpump said. ‘As you know, that was filmed quite a bit after we finished filming the season. And so, it’s just so raw.’
Even as a producer that loves ‘all the ins and outs and shenanigans’, Vanderpump said it gets difficult when you’re ’emotionally invested’ in the group.
‘My heart really broke, actually for both of them,’ she said. ‘Of course, what he [Sandoval] did… it cannot be condoned in any way shape or form. But still, to see the utter kind of misery and the devastation of the fallout.’
Her comments come after Sandoval and Leviss split, just two months after their affair, which ended his nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix, was exposed.
In April, Leviss checked into a facility for mental health treatment.
‘Raquel and her family decided before the relationship was discovered that she would enter a voluntary facility for mental health counseling,’ a source told ET, at the time.
The insider continued: ‘She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment. Bravo and production were aware and in support of her journey towards better mental health.
Leviss’ rep added that she was not in a facility for substance abuse issues.
In March, Leviss issued a statement in which she revealed she was analyzing her own behavior and speaking to a counselor after the affair was exposed.
She said: ‘I am reflecting on my choices, speaking to a counselor and I am learning things about myself such as my patterns of codependency and addiction to being and feeling loved.
‘I have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships. I am taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices.’
