Logie Awards 2022: Rogue Traders set to perform for the first time in seven years


Rogue Traders are set to perform for the first time in SEVEN years at the 2022 Logie Awards

Rogue Traders are set to return to the stage for the first time in seven years.

The electro-rockers, who reformed in 2017, are set for an on-stage reunion when they headline the TV Week Logies Live Site at The Star Gold Coast next Sunday.

The Voice Australia winner Lachie Gill will open the day’s entertainment performing his debut single Wasted Time.

Other performers include Queensland musician Gaudion and alt-pop singer Sofia Isella.

Kicking off from 2pm, fans will get a chance to meet stars from shows including The Block, Travel Guides and Married At First Sight.

British singer Calum Scott will perform during the televised Logies ceremony.

Rogue Traders formed in Melbourne in 2002, with Neighbours star Natalie Bassingthwaighte joining as lead singer two years later. 

The group went on to have a slew of hits including Voodoo Child, which peaked at number four on the ARIA charts and was also popular in the UK.

The group’s last album, Night of the Living Drums, was released in 2011. 

In 2017, Natalie hinted that a new single was in the works, but the band has not released any music since 2011. 

The Logies will take place at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre within The Star Gold Coast Entertainment Resort precinct.

The show’s host and full list of celebrity attendees are yet to be announced.
