Robinson Peete’s star is the 2,725 dedicated on the Walk of Fame since its beginning in 1961, according to Fox11.

Robinson Peete said she was dedicating the honor to her mother Dolores Robinson, who managed her career for three decades.

‘She dreamed big for herself bringing her kids west from Philly in ’74,’ she said, according to the outlet. ‘If it wasn’t for her boldness and courage to create a better life for us I would not be getting this star!’

The actress said that appearing on 21 Jump Street from 1987-1991 was her ‘most emotional project’ and ‘catapulted’ her career.

‘I absolutely adored the character of Officer Judy Hoffs,’ she said of her role on the series, which starred Johnny Depp. ‘I cried so hard when the show ended. I didn’t want to say goodbye to her.’
