Louise Thompson broke down in tears as she watched the Queen’s funeral with her son, admitting she had ‘goose bumps’ and felt ‘so emotional’ tuning into the ceremony.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 32, cuddled 10-month-old Leo in a video shared to Instagram as she sobbed at Monday’s historic events, captioning the story: ‘I don’t know why I put makeup on.’

In a series of clips shared with her 1.4million following, Louise said alongside an image of the Queen smiling ‘Today we will all dedicate to you’ and ‘The drums, the pipes, I think she would have loved it.’

The mother-of-one, who welcomed her first son last December with fiancé Ryan Libbey, 32, shared a video of Leo rocking back and forth to the beat of the procession.

She wrote on the clip: ‘Leo loved the bagpipes and actually managed to sit still #AMomentInHistory.’

Louise also reposted a cartoon that appeared in today’s Times newspaper, which shows an elderly man watching the Queen’s funeral alone in his living room next to an empty armchair.

She wrote: ‘There will be many who are grieving multiple losses today. Check in on those sat all by themselves.’

In sharing the videos dedicated to Her Majesty today, Louise gave fans a glimpse into her west London home, which has recently been renovated.

Louise’s pristine living room has a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall above her fireplace and the star has decorated the space with Vogue coffee table books and candles.

Leo’s toys, including a cuddly elephant and wooden stroller, can be seen in the background, as well as a ball pit. 

The reality star’s dogs can also be seen snuggling up to Louise and Leo as the family stayed in together to watch Monday’s events on the TV.
