Love Island’s Indiyah Polack says new girls need to fight back after Tanyel Revan makes a sly move

‘Keep your friends close and your enemies closer’: Former Love Island star Indiyah Polack says the new girls need to fight back after Tanyel Revan makes a sly move

Love Island returned on Monday evening as a new set of singletons entered the South African villa.

And one in particular has caught the eye of former finalist Indiyah Polack after making a sly move in the opening episode.

Tanyel Revan, 26, made sure all eyes were on her as she was the last of the main cast to enter the villa and swiped PE teacher Kai Fagan, 24, from one of the other girls.

Kai was coupled up with Olivia Hawkins, 27, for a few minutes when the beauty came in and pinched him leaving her on the bench and having to couple up with farmer Will Young, 23.

The bold move from Tanyel did not go unseen by Indiyah who bought up the moment on Love Island: The Morning After podcast.

Speaking to co-host and former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson, she said: ‘Mate, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

‘If all the other babes are smart, they’ll just take Tanyel’s tricks and then use it on the guys.

‘Befriend her, take her tricks and take her man.’

Another fellow Islander Demi Jones, who was a guest on the podcast, replied: ‘Ooh this is sass from you Indiyah!’

The villa is already looking slightly different after bombshell hunk Tom Clare, 23, re-coupled with Olivia on Tuesday night’s show leaving Will single and vulnerable.

However, viewers were left less than impressed as they rushed to Twitter to say they felt bad for Will as Olivia didn’t ‘try to hide her smile when her name was called’.

Fans joked that the farmer needs to ‘smile through the pain’, as he was left sitting solo around the fire pit.

It seemed Olivia wasn’t too impressed with Will from the start as her head was already turned for Haris Namani, 21.

Speaking to co-host Sam Thompson, she said: 'Mate, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. If all the other babes are smart, they'll just take Tanyel's tricks and then use it on the guys'

The ring girl admitted to already ‘frienzoning’ Will and that the farmer is just ‘not my type’.

She said: ‘He’s so lovely but he’s just not my type. We would be really good friends. I don’t want to friendzone him already but in my head I have.’

Speaking to the camera, she added: ‘With Will I’m already thinking friendship but I’m going to go in with an open mind and get to know everyone else.’

The reality star’s head looks like it might have already turned to boxer Haris after the pair had a cheeky chat by the fire pit.

Just one day after the Islanders coupled up for the first time, ITV revealed two new bombshells are set to enter the villa in the next episode to stir some feathers.

David Salako, 24, and Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown, 25, will be heading in to mix things up and make sure the islanders are not getting to comfortable.
