Singer and actress Lea Michele stood out on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday.

The 36-year-old Glee vet wore a bright red costume and black hat with feather from her Funny Girl Broadway show as she sang the hit tune Don’t Rain On My Parade.

The mother of one was performing during the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.

Also there were Paula Abdul, Jordin Sparks and Mariah Carey. 

Along with the iconic balloons, the parade will also feature 28 floats, 12 marching bands, 700 clowns and several music stars are set to make their way through on Thanksgiving Day.

She was seen rehearsing in October.

The star spoke to Good Morning America in NYC about stepping into some very big shoes before she sang a song from the show.

When asked if she would love it if her idol Barbra Streisand, who made the role of Fanny Brice in Funny Girl famous, came by and watcher her performance, Michele said yes and that it would be ‘incredible.’

Funny Girl is a musical with score by Jule Styne, lyrics by Bob Merrill, and book by Isobel Lennart, that first opened on Broadway in 1964.

Streisand performed on stage and then starred in the 1968 movie starring Omar Sharif. 

Lea shared, ‘Everyone knows my love for Barbra Streisand, I have expressed that from Glee, from growing up, and she made Funny Girl what it is and we would love if she came to the show.

‘It would be incredible if she came,’ noted Lea.

As far as being back on Broadway, she said it makes her happy.

‘It’s such a thrill to be a part of the Broadway community, to  return home for me, I love it so much,’ she said.

‘I started performing when I was eight years old on Les Miserables and now many years later to be back on Broadway in my fifth show, it was a dream come true to star as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl.’

As far as juggling the show and being mom to her son Ever, age two, she says she is just doing her best. 

‘I am figuring it out, I have the best husband, he is wonderful, it helps. But it is a challenge. My son knows I sing and I go to work,’ she said.

She also told her son she loves him and will see him later. 

The star also was in costume to perform the song Don’t Rain on My Parade with the Funny Girl cast.
