Married At First Sight couple Daniel Holmes (right) and Carolina Santos (left) put on a united front on Sunday as they discussed Daniel’s worrying Instagram post from last week
Looking downcast as they filmed a video in their living room, they denied break-up rumours and stressed Daniel wasn’t making a cry for help when he said he felt ‘lost, lonely and scared’.
He clarified that his post was ‘a build up of a lot of stuff’, and that he was ‘a happy person’ but was ‘just having a bad day’.
Carolina also said they were grateful for the many supportive messages they had received over the weekend.

In his concerning post last week, Daniel had confessed: ‘I feel immense pressure, I trust no one, I fail then fail again, the ones I love hurt me, I hurt them back.’
He also described himself as ‘lost, lonely and scared’, which led some fans to fear he was possibly having a mental breakdown.
The couple were one of MAFS’ most controversial partnerships.
They had an affair after Carolina left her ‘husband’ Dion Giannarelli for the personal trainer, who had just called it quits with his ‘wife’ Jessica Seracino.
