Man attacked by Rottweiler in Leppington, Sydney’s south-west

  • Man in 50s suffered bite wounds to head and upper body 

A man has been rushed to hospital after being attacked by a Rottweiler while out on a walk.

Emergency services were called to a home on George Road, in Leppington in Sydney‘s southwest at about 7.30am on Monday.

A man aged in his 50s had suffered bite wounds to his head, neck, arm and leg.

Emergency services were called to the scene at about 7.30am on Monday

He was transported to Liverpool Hospital where he remains.

It’s understood the man had been walking past the house when the dog attacked.

A cat at a neighbouring home was also reportedly killed by the Rottweiler.

Police are investigating the incident and remain at the scene.
