A man has been dubbed as the ‘world’s best boyfriend’ for always spoiling his girlfriend with gifts regardless of how tired he feels after work.
Harry Fairlie, a diesel plant mechanic from Sydney, lives by a ‘no excuses’ mentality when it comes to how he treats his partner Ella Whiteley.
After arriving home from a long work day, Harry stopped by a local store to pick up a bouquet of flowers, bag of Smith’s chips and chocolate bars for her.
The moment he gave the gifts to Ella, who he’s been with for five months, was caught on camera and instantly warmed the hearts of thousands.
‘This is your sign to make the effort,’ Harry captioned a TikTok video.
‘Never stop treating her like you’re still trying to win her. 14 hour shifts, little sleep, NO excuses to not make an effort.’
In the clip Harry shared two images – one of himself at work and another of the gifts – then cuts to the moment he arrives home.
Ella is standing out the front with a huge smile on her face as she sees the flowers.
A remix of Sam Smith’s pop hit ‘Latch’ plays over the footage and Ella can be seen jumping up and down excitedly.
The couple then embrace with a kiss before the video ends. Over just four days the TikTok has gone viral exceeding more than 1.3million views.
‘It’s the little things, flowers at random times, I drop everything as soon as she’s sick and help her beat it, get what she needs no questions,’ one person commented.
‘Aww well done, this is brilliant!’ another said.
‘Her little happy jumps in the driveway. Such a beautiful couple,’ a third wrote.
‘I’m happy to see that there’s still relationships like this,’ someone else added.
‘Agree. No one is too busy. Good on you for recognising that these small gestures go a long way!’ another wrote.
Although other women wished their partner would do the same for them.
‘Wish mine was like this,’ one wrote, another said: ‘I definitely don’t get that .. completely opposite.’
