Mandy Moore is effortlessly chic in a patterned dress as she helps those in need ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday during an ‘incredibly meaningful’ giveback event
Mandy Moore was classically chic as she stepped out to give back to the homeless during the Union Station Homeless Services Thanksgiving gathering in Pasadena earlier Monday.
The Princess Diaries actress, 38, looked stunning as she hosted the Gymboree X Mandy Moore X Delivering Good holiday event, and additionally shared photos from the day onto her Instagram page.
The talented star was radiant after recently welcoming her second child, Ozzie, to the world one month earlier on October 21, whom she shares with husband, Taylor Goldsmith.

The This Is Us actress glowed in a short-sleeved, black and white-patterned dress that flowed down past her knees.
For a pop of color to the monochromatic look, Mandy paired the fitted ensemble with vibrant, red strappy heels.
Her locks were parted in the middle and slicked back into a stylish ponytail, allowing her wavy bangs to border the side of her face.
The mother of two was all smiles as she celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday with those in need, including both children and adults from the local community.

Mandy kept her makeup classic for day, which comprised of a layer of black eyeliner and mascara, along with peach-colored blush and a red, satin lipstick.
During the event, the star was seen helping out in the kitchen and dishing food onto plates which were given to those in need.
She also took time to make a few Thanksgiving crafts with children, and happily smiled for the cameras as she showed off her paper turkey.
In the caption of the photo series, Mandy explained, ‘This month symbolizes gratitude – sharing, welcoming and, most importantly to us, giving thanks. With children at the [heart] of everything we do.’
The star partnered with nonprofit organization, Delivering Good, which strives to provide essentials such as clothing and furnishing to those affected by poverty. She also worked alongside Gymboree, whom she is also partnered with.

‘These photos from the event are special, but do not even capture the amount of love and joy felt at this incredibly meaningful gathering,’ she emotionally concluded.
During an interview with Life Minute TV at the event, Mandy further expressed, ‘I think the holidays and Thanksgiving specifically, like, it really is about that connectivity and togetherness and bringing families together.’
‘So, to be able to sort of share a holiday meal just is so special and it’s really what the season is all about,’ she added.
Through her partnership with Gymboree and Delivering Good, $500,000 was donated to create the wardrobe closets that will supply essential apparel items to those in need around the country.
The star opened up about her own holiday plans with her now family of four, which included, ‘cranking up the holiday tunes,’ and, ‘just being generally festive.’

Earlier on Tuesday, the Tangled star shared an assortment of snaps onto her Instagram story, including a photo of her newborn son, Ozzie, as he adorably rested on her chest, with the caption, ‘Nothing better.’
She also shared a cute picture of her oldest son, August, who also goes by the nickname, Gus. He was born in 2019, whom she also shares with her husband, Taylor.
The toddler was seen walking through a park with leaves scattered around him while sporting a pumpkin pie sweater. Mandy humorously typed, ‘This guy is ready for Thanksgiving.’

Mandy has been balancing both mom and work life, and will soon be stepping back onto star-studded sets. She recently announced that she will be joining the cast in the second season of Dr. Death.
According to Deadline, the talented actress will portray the female lead of investigative journalist, Benita Alexander, alongside actor Edgar Ramirez.
Ramirez has been cast to play the role of real-life Italian surgeon, Paolo Macchiarini. The Peacock anthology series is based off the Wondery true crime podcast of the same name.
When sharing the news onto her Instagram page on Tuesday, Mandy excitedly expressed, ‘Secret’s out! I wasn’t expecting to head back to work so soon but I couldn’t say no to Dr. Death…’
She expressed her excitement to with work with Edgar and reunite with her This Is Us co-star, Jennifer Morrison, who is slated to direct the first four episodes for the upcoming season.
Back to work: After welcoming her second son last month, Mandy announced she will be joining season two of Peacock’s Dr. Death and will play the female lead in the show; seen in May performing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
