Once upon a time she was a rising star on the popular Australian soap, Neighbours.
But Margot Robbie proved she is well and truly an A-lister on Thursday, as she attended a photo call for her new movie Once Upon A Time in Hollywood in Beverly Hills.
The 29-year-old stunned in timeless cream dress as she larked about with co-star Brad Pitt and the film’s director, Quentin Tarantino.
Timeless beauty! Margot Robbie channeled old Hollywood in a chic cream dress as attended photo call for her new movie, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, on Thursday in Beverly Hills
Margot recently discussed her electric role in the upcoming Tarantino flick during Vogue’s famous 73 Questions.
When asked: ‘What was it like working with Quentin?’ She effused, ‘It was the best ever!’
‘There are no cell phones on set… I don’t think Quentin even owns one. And every 100 rolls of film everyone stops and has a drink and celebrates!’ she added.
It’s been a busy first half of the year for Margot who recently wrapped on her return as supervillain Harley Quinn for the all-female Suicide Squad spin-off Birds of Prey.
The starlet, who scored her first Oscar nod last year for her role in I, Tonya, made her acting breakthrough in the 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street after appearing in Neighbours.
Since then, she has taken on a number of diverse roles including Queen Elizabeth I in the historical drama film Mary Queen of Scots.
The multi-talented star also launched her own production company in 2014 to find better roles.
She told the Radio Times earlier this year: ‘I wasn’t seeing many scripts where I wanted to play the female role.’
‘The female roles are always a catalyst for the male story, and that’s unsatisfying. So I was like, “Well, we’ll start making our own films, because we can’t just sit around for ever and wait for them to come along.”’
LuckyChap Entertainment, which Margot runs with her director husband Tom Ackerley, produced Margot’s acclaimed I, Tonya and is currently working on a new TV show about the Second World War’s female codebreakers as well as the live action Barbie movie, which will star Margot as the iconic doll.
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is out July 26.
