Missing boy, 17, found dead by workers demolishing a building in Georgia days after he disappeared

A missing 17-year-old teenage boy was found dead by demolition workers in Georgia on Wednesday, as his death is now being investigated as a murder. 

Teenager Zyuan Ceasar, 17, from Vidalia, Toombs County, was reported missing to police on December 17.

His body was discovered five days later, on December 23, as workers were demolishing a home on the 300 block of Everett Street, Vidalia.

Vidalia Police Department were called to reports of a dead body found at the building around 2pm.

The body was positively identified as missing teen, Zyuan Ceasar, by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s (GBI) Crime Lab.

A joint investigation has now been launched involving the GBI and Vidalia Police Department as Ceasar’s death is being treated as a murder. 

According to missing person reports, Zyuan Ceasar was last seen outside of his home in Vidalia.
