Moment Microsoft exec’s ex-wife describes telling kids he was dead

A slain Microsoft executive’s ex-wife sat down with his widow to tell their children he was dead – months before she was charged with orchestrating his murder.

In a newly revealed clip from a July 22 interview with Action News Jax, Shanna Garder-Fernandez, 36, tells of the moment she told her twins with Jared Bridegan that he had been killed. 

‘It was a very quick visit,’ Gardner said. 

‘He came over just because she asked to be there to tell the children. And we just wanted it very clear that this is to honor his memory. We didn’t want too many details even though we disagreed. I think we all can agree that we love the kids, and they needed to be the priority.’

Gardner-Fernandez her current husband, Mario Fernandez-Saldana, both 35, are accused of hiring a hitman to gun down Bridegan, 33, who was slain in an execution-style killing in front of his small daughter in Jacksonville Beach last year.
