Mother-of-three shares her ‘life-changing’ hack for busy mums who want to go to the beach but can’t get there
A popular influencer has revealed a life hack for mums who want to soak up the sun and sand, but can’t find the time to get to the beach.
Ruby Tuesday Matthew, 30, a busy mother of three children under the age of five, shared her advice to her Instagram stories on Tuesday.
Holding her youngest child, Ruby explained she does the housework in her swimsuit so she feels like she is on holiday.
‘I am doing housework in my swimsuit because I feel like it’s a life hack to feeling like you went to the beach when you’re really stuck in your house,’ she said.
‘The weather is insane here today. It feels like a true hot summer’s day…and we’re just doing housework and then we’ll go outside’ she added.
Matthews regularly posts about motherhood, and recently shared another video on Instagram discussing how difficult it is looking after three young children while sick.
She captioned the clip: ‘Becoming a mum is realising being sick alone is a luxury.’
In the video, she explained that she has been suffering from a bad cold, but has to continue to look after her three children Rocket, 5, Mars, 4, and Holiday, 11 months.
Wearing a white tank top as she sat in the car, the brunette beauty said: ‘I am sick, it has hit me like a tonne of bricks.
‘I don’t mind being sick when you don’t have kids, being sick with children no one cares that you’re sick.
‘You’re like “I’m sick’ and they’re like “Ahhh jump on the trampoline” and they want you to cook dinner, make lunch, and I’m like okay I guess I’m the only person who is an adult here and I’m responsible.
‘Thank God for Panadol cold and flu and all the things, I definitely have a temperature.’
Ruby shares her two eldest children with her ex Ryan Heywood, and shares her youngest Holiday with her fiancé Shannan Dodd.
