Mother praises £1.27 ASDA massage mist as helping to put her kids to sleep under 10 minutes

Parents looking for a peaceful night’s sleep have praised an ASDA product for helping to settle their babies down in just ten minutes.

An impressed mother took to Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group to rave about the Little Angels Bedtime Massage Mist, which costs only £1.27.

She wrote: ‘I bathed my kids and put this on them both. My son is four years old and my daughter is five months old and it worked a charm.

‘Got them in pyjamas and they were both asleep within 10 minutes. It’s usually hard to get my son to go to sleep on time, he always plays up.’

The product comes from the same range as the supermarket’s Little Angels Vapour Bath, which costs just 87p, which has previously been praised by parents for helping their youngsters to nod off.

Other members were quick to agree with the mother’s assessment, praising the lavender and chamomile fragrance mist for helping both children and adults nod off.

One wrote: ‘This stuff is good for adults who struggle to settle into sleep too. It’s just as good as Sleepy cream from Lush at a fraction of the price.’

Another said: ‘[My daughter] has woke an hour after going to bed each night with teething. Used this tonight and she’s settled straight away and still there.’

And those who hadn’t tried the massage mist yet were keen to give it a go, sharing their excitement for the product in the comment section of the post.

‘Wonder if this will work on my 13-year-old’, one social media user joked, as another said: ‘Need a trip to ASDA!’

‘I am desperate to try it but it’s out of stock in store and online’, another parent eager to use it bemoaned.

Not everyone was a fan, however, with one mother saying: 'Bought it last night and I used the vapour bath which is supposed to work too! Don't be fooled. He definitely didn't sleep through'

ASDA’s Little Angels range has also been praised in the past for other five-star rated items such as their Vapour Bath, which costs just 87p and has a menthol scent that helps soothe and comfort little ones ahead of bedtime.

Branded ‘a miracle worker’ by parents, one reviewer said: ‘I bought this for my seven-week-old daughter.

‘Since birth she hasn’t had a full night’s sleep waking up every two to three hours, but after having a bath with ASDA’s little Angels menthol bubble bath she slept a full night’s sleep last night (9.5 hours).’
