An Australian mum has shared a video of her ‘game changing’ trick to ensure her robot vacuum cleaner can move freely between rooms in the house without getting stuck

Katie revealed she purchased the $24.20 Matpro Ramp Mat (pictured left) and placed it on the crossover between the laundry and kitchen
The clever idea worked well to ensure the Evocas Deebot Ozmo T8-Plus Robotic Vacuum was able to clean the entire surface of the floor throughout the house.
The mat itself it designed to reduce tripping hazards and is perfect for warehouses, schools, hospitals and retail stores.
Whereas the vacuum costs $1299 as it vacuums and mops simultaneously and is built with an automatic empty system.
To make the mat fit perfectly between the door frame, Katie said her husband cut the rubber product to size.
‘Absolutely love this so much. Would highly recommend!’ she said.
For added convenience, the robot vacuum can be controlled using a mobile phone app.
After sharing the clever hack on social media, others were quick to comment and thanked Katie for sharing the insight.
‘Omg you’re so smart!! I need this in my life,’ one mum said.
‘I need this for our ensuite,’ another said, a third added: ‘What a great idea.’
