Three men have been arrested after a murder investigation was launched following the death of a 60-year-old man involved in a fight in east London.
A forensic tent was spotted outside a house in Dagenham where the man died as Met Police officers cordoned off the area on Sunday while they worked in and around the scene.
Two men, aged 36 and 26, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder while a 23-year-old man has also since been arrested.
The man, who died at the scene, is believed to have been involved in a fight with a group in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called at 12.06am on Sunday to reports of the fight at the junction of Ford Road and Broad Street.
The police have appealed for any witnesses who saw the altercation take place to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn said: ‘At this stage we believe an altercation happened between a group of men and the victim, who was with a friend. This then became physical, leading to the victim sadly suffering fatal injuries.

‘We have three men in custody, but would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or the lead up to it as soon as possible.’
The white and yellow forensic tent has been set up in the street outside homes at the northern end of Broad Street, Dagenham.
A staff member at the Four Seasons Florist confirmed the tent and officers were there and that customers were only able to get to his shop from the south side of Broad Street.
