My hair was ruined by bleach which burnt my scalp, ears and neck – the salon still charged me £120
A woman took to TikTok to discuss how a hairdressers fried her hair with bleach, which burnt her skin, and still charged her £120 for the treatment.
Chelsy Ann, from Kent, shared a video on the social media platform – which racked up more than two million views – about how an unnamed hairdresser ruined her hair.
She went to a different hairdressers from her usual salon, because it was unavailable, but she soon came to regret her decision.
Captioning the clip, Chelsy Ann wrote: ‘How the hairdressers completely destroyed hair, burnt my scalp, ears and neck and still charged me £120.
‘Aggressively brushing bleach through my hair, was all over my ears and (my) neck starting burning and they didn’t care.

‘Bleached three times, gave me a stick to itch my scalp which then made it worse.
‘My hair was falling out as they washed it and it was very ginger still.
‘I complained about my fringe looking nothing like the picture and he aggressively cut even more hair into it.
‘I spent years getting my hair healthy again for him to destroy it in a few hours.
‘Not to mention my ears and neck were burnt and the bleach had burnt through to my roots and left them exposed (the black dots).’
Pictures show the hair Chelsy Ann had wanted, versus what she got, along with a step-by-step process of her hair being destroyed.
She also showed images of her red ears, where the bleach had burned her skin.
When she says her locks started falling out, it still wasn’t even blonde, but a shade of ginger.

In another video, Chelsy Ann responded to a comment which said that the black dots were normal.
She said: ‘I just wanted to reply to this comment because there’s a lot of arguments over the black dots on my scalp.
‘I sent a photo to my hairdresser, my usual hairdresser the same day it had happened and this was her response.
‘So when I sent it to her I said “should there be black dots all over my scalp?”
‘And she said “Oh no way! God Chelsy your condition was just getting better.
‘That’s where the follicles have opened. That’s your root.”
The message exchange also shows Chelsy saying: ‘They won’t give me my money back either.’

She continued by saying: ‘This lady she’s been doing my hair since I was like nine years old so I trust what she says.
