Mystery surrounds a major Aussie fitness influencer who has ‘filed for BANKRUPTCY’ amid mounting debts – as paperwork surfaces for the move

One of Australia’s biggest influencers has filed for bankruptcy. 

The Instagram account Dutch Minty shared the filing on Wednesday with the gossip account choosing not to name the influencer. 

The influencer, who listed their profession as advertising and marketing professional, filed the paperwork on December 29 last year.

The status of the bankruptcy is ‘undischarged’ which means they will still need to pay back particular debts.

It also means they cannot borrow again without the disclosure of the bankruptcy to financial institutions.

The release of the Debtors Petition did not show the debts outstanding. 

There is no minimum amount owed for an individual to claim bankruptcy. 

According to Australian Financial Securities Authority, a creditor must be seeking $10,000 or more to apply to make you bankrupt.

The filing came just days after an Australian music festival run by influencer Nikki Westcott’s restauranteur fiancé Oli Frost fell into administration.   

Launched in 2016 by Mr Frost and event organiser Johnny Eddings, The Grass Is Greener festival was an annual indie music festival held in cities around Queensland. 

However, the company responsible for the festival, Handpicked Events and Marketing, founded by Mr Frost, went into administration on December 8.

According to, administrators will assess over $570,000 in loans allegedly given to other businesses managed by Mr Frost and Mr Eddings.

Last year’s festival promised a stellar lineup of artists playing in Cairns, Gold Coast, Canberra, and Geelong. 

However, a swathe of international artists pulled out shortly after the lineup was advertised, including Ty Dolla $ign, ZHU, and Maya Jane Coles.
