Naomi Watts enjoys stroll with her in NYC after sharing her ‘love’ for ex-Liev Schreiber’s newborn baby Hazel
Naomi Watts and ex-Liev Schreiber have shown to be united for the sake of their blended family in the past.
So it doesn’t come as a surprise that the actress would offer her love and support to her former longtime partner and his new wife Taylor Neisen after they confirmed the arrival of their newborn daughter.
‘We love baby Hazel!!’ Watts commented on Schreiber’s baby news post on Wednesday.
One day later and Watts was seen while out on a walk with her four-legged family member, Izzy, in her adopted hometown of New York City.
The 21 Grams star, who shares her two children with Schreiber, kept it casual-cool in the fashion department dressed in blue jeans and a black sleeveless top that hugged her lean figure.
The Shoreham, Kent, England native, 54, stepped out for quiet time with her pet pooch in a pair of brown sandals, and stylish sunglasses.
On this day, she had her blonde locks styled long and straight, just past her shoulders, with a part just off to the slight right.
While strolling along the sidewalk with Izzy, Watts appeared to be engulfed in a conversation on her cell phone.
Eventually, she made her way across a street and met up with a couple of other people who were walking their dogs at the time.
The previous day, Schreiber took to his Instagram page to not only announce the birth of his daughter but to also confirm her name.
‘So happy that Hazel Bee is finally here,’ the Ray Donovan actor began in the caption, alongside a photo of Hazel’s little hand and another of her tiny foot.
He continued, ‘She arrived early in the morning of August 27th and has been a dream every day since. Mom and baby are both super happy and healthy. Thanks to all for the love and support.’
The comments from family, friends and fans, which included Watts, have since been rolling in, mostly offering their congratulations and love and support.
The previous year, Watts and Schreiber showed they were able to put their blendd family ahead of any bitter issues they might still have in the seven years since their split in 2016.
The former couple, who had been an item for 11 years, posed for a photo together with their new spouses as they celebrated the graduation of Watts and Schreiber’s child, Kai, 13 at the time, in June 2022.
The exes’ then 15-year-old son Sasha was also featured in the family photo.
‘Congratulations to Kai Class of 2022 #modernfamily #graduation,” Watts captioned the happy moment, which also included her longtime partner Billy Crudrup, whom she married this past June, and Neisen, who Schreiber married in July.
