Natalie Imbruglia has called on local promoters to help her plan an Australian tour for next year.

The 47-year-old told the Herald Sun she recently lost money during her mini-tour in the UK for the 25th anniversary of her hit debut album Left of the Middle as she was unable to book more venues due to the post-pandemic backlog.

She admitted she would love to tour Australia next year and is currently ‘looking at some opportunities’ but it’s ‘so expensive’.

‘I really want to do it and it’s important the fans know that, but it’s expensive so, to the promoters out there, I want to tour Australia,’ Natalie said.

‘We’re looking at some opportunities next year where I can come as a support and do my own shows around that.’

Natalie added: ‘If there’s a way that I can do it and even break even, I’m here.’
