A child’s birthday party went off with a bang after the surprise guest of honor had an accident while performing for the kids.
Lawrence Chiu had invited the New Jersey Devils Mascot to attend his son’s birthday party on Sunday.
In a Twitter video posted by Chiu, the mascot is seen clowning around the New Jersey event.

‘The NJ Devil was not hurt’, Chiu tweeted.
In response, the NJ Devil Twitter account posted a funny video of a mascot playfully attempting to break a shatterproof glass screen at Prudential Center, but, of course, fails.
The mascot is then seen helping a man in NJ Devils uniform load up a shatterproof glass sheet on a van for delivery.
