Nova radio host Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald has shared an ingenious storage hack that will make brewing your morning coffee easier than ever before.
The 44-year-old Fitzy & Wippa star was shocked to discover that the lids of instant coffee jars are designed to hold sugar.
After being enlightened by a listener, he shared the wisdom in a video uploaded to TikTok, showing viewers how to remove the cap on the inside of the lid and fill it with sugar before pressing it back in place.
‘There you go, you’ve got your instant coffee, and your sugar. Smart!’ he said.

But the revelation, which has racked up 88,800 views since it was shared online on Tuesday, sparked varied responses.
‘So… it’s not the instant coffee measuring device? These things need instructions,’ one person replied.
Another added: ‘Well thank you and the clever listener!
Many poked fun at the former AFL player for drinking instant coffee rather than buying a takeaway cup.
‘Who drinks instant though?’ one person wrote.
‘Step three: throw instant coffee in the bin,’ said a second.
Meanwhile others were confused that Fitzy had only made the discovery at the age of 44.
‘How did you NOT know that?’ one viewer said.
Last month, the presenter delighted fans by reverting to his signature clean-shaven look after giving himself a dramatic makeover.
