Perth hoons throw ironing board from highrise building – hitting teenager on the way down

A bunch of mates have filmed themselves tossing an ironing board off a high rise building moments before it hit a passerby in the head on the way down.

A 16-year-old boy was standing on a footpath in Scarborough, Perth, on Sunday night when the ironing board hit his leg before crashing into the ground.

He wasn’t injured in the incident, but footage shared to social media shows just how close he came to being seriously hurt, 9News reported.

A group of people partying in a highrise building nearby filmed themselves trashing the hotel room and jumping around the living room.

Moments later, a female who is filming a man holding the ironing board says: ‘Throw it off the balcony, c**t’.

The man then lobs the ironing board directly ahead of him as people in the background scream and laugh.

The video was posted to social media between 8pm and 9pm on Sunday.

After the 16-year-old boy was hit, police were called to the scene.

They were able to clearly and quickly identify the culprits thanks to the public social media posts.

A 23-year-old man was spoken to by police inside the hotel room, but no charges have been laid.
