Pregnant Cyrell Paule reveals how cruel racist comments from trolls took a toll on her relationship

Pregnant Married At First Sight star Cyrell Paule has revealed how cruel and racist comments from trolls took a toll on her relationship with boyfriend Eden Dally.

The 31-year-old told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday that she and Eden often fought because of the stress of it all.

‘It did a lot of damage, even with us, as much as it hurts to say it, it caused a bit of arguments,’ Cyrell said.

‘That was terrible and probably the worst,’ she said, with Cyrell now being 21 weeks pregnant with their son.

Cyrell said that Eden told her to ignore the trolls, but it still got to her a little, with some racist trolls telling Eden to ‘leave his black monkey’.

‘Eden put in my head, “why are we listening to the worst of others, when we should be believing in each other?” The truth of the matter is, you try and do that but it still hurts and to top it off, it then goes onto your child.’

‘It’s not just me, I have had people go, “what are you doing with a guy that has shown aggression to other women?”

Cyrell said that she couldn’t believe that trolls said they wanted her to have a miscarriage.

‘Even when we first announced we were having a baby, fair enough if you want to say what you want about Eden and I, but when I hear people praying that they wanted me to have a miscarriage… they started saying, “your baby is going to be half black.”

‘I was like, “what?” Just because of my skin colour my kid now needs to die. And I’m already hormonal as it is.’

Eden said he took Cyrell’s phone away from her so she could ignore the keyboard warriors. Cyrell added that she turned to friends and family for support.

Eden said he wants laws to be put in place for trolls and wants action.

But he also said he and Cyrell want to use their profile for good and hence are backing the cause.

‘We have a platform to reach out to a wide audience so we may as well use it to do good.’
