Rebecca shares Olivia Grace, two, Sofia, six, and son Finley, four, with Jamie and also has children Megan, 15, and Taylor, 11, from previous relationships.

Jamie also has an 11-year-old daughter, Ella, from a relationship with Emma Daggett.

It comes after a source close to the family told The Sun: ‘It’s been horrifying. Their neighbours have all been evacuated and one by one residents are being told to leave their homes.

‘Becky can see smoke everywhere and she’s terrified about the kids breathing it in. The water is also down so she’s relying on bottled water which, obviously, there is only a finite amount of at home.

‘Jamie and their friends and family back home have all been really worried. Things are developing by the hour but she’s praying the fire brigades, who have been brilliant, can get things back under control.’

Rebekah is believed to be at the six-bed villa in the south of the country – which boasts three pools, a gym and sauna – to escape her legal woes following the well-publicised Wagatha Christie trial against Coleen Rooney earlier this year.

Portugal has been hit by a series of blazes in recent days, with some encroaching on the exclusive neighbourhood of Quinta do Lago where properties sell for between £1million and £9.5million, home to stars including Roman Abramovich, Duncan Bannatyne, John Terry and Steven Gerrard.

Former Dragons Den star Bannatyne, 73, revealed he and his wife Nigora, 42, had to flee from his mansion amid the blaze.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote: ‘Terrible day in the Algarve today. We have survived but it was a bit scary. Yes. We had to leave our homes today but luckily very few properties were damaged.’

Footage shows swirling flames tearing through the luxury Portuguese resort, destroying golf courses as panicked tourists desperately tried to flee in their cars from the looming inferno.

Thousands of firefighters and volunteers are battling blazes across the country with one devastated villager describing flames as ‘looking like the devil’.

The blistering heat has caused similar fires to break out in Spain, France, Turkey and Croatia as Europe continues to suffer under the furnace-like heat dome blanketing the continent.
