Real Housewives of Sydney star Nicole Gazal O’Neil has two extremely talented daughters who are ready to make a name for themselves.

Nawal, 17, and Neve, 16, may not be following in their mother’s footsteps by appearing on reality television, but their chosen career is no less demanding.

The teenagers are both talented fencers and will be competing this week at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games in the foil and épée events.

They developed a passion for fencing while attending school in London, and reportedly have plans to take their love for the sport to the highest competitive level.

Nicole once said on her blog that fencing is a popular school sport in England as it can be played indoors on dreary days.

The 42-year-old explained her daughters ‘quickly found their fencing feet’ and turned a passing hobby into their life passion.

A family friend told The Sydney Morning Herald: ‘Fencers peak professionally in their mid to late twenties, so the girls are working towards qualifying to represent Australia in the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.’

Her brother Nabil Gazal infamously had an affair with Roxy Jacenko in 2017 while her husband Oliver Curtis was in prison for insider trading.

RHOS wasn’t renewed for a second season, reportedly because Foxtel executives were unhappy with how ‘mean’ the housewives were to each other.
