Robbie Williams debuts a new mohawk hairstyle as he steps out wearing kooky £250 Playboy ‘bunny girl’ loafers in Australia

He’s known for his former 90s hell-raising days.

And Robbie Williams has paid homage to his rocker roots with a new edgy mohawk hairstyle as he attended the AFL Grand Final entertainment line-up at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia on Thursday.

The singer, 48, who is set to perform at the show this weekend, also stepped out wearing a pair of £250 Playboy ‘bunny girl’ loafers by Duke and Dexter.

Robbie opted for full rock star style in a glittering Joker-inspired sequin jacket while wearing one of his signature white vests. 

He showed off his dozens of tattoos while showering himself in several glitzy pieces of jewellery.

Robbie was also joined on the day by Delta Goodrem, who looked stunning in  a chocolate brown suit. 

The hitmaker is set to perform the duet Kids with Robbie on the Saturday, which he originally recorded with Kylie Minogue.

Speaking at the event Robbie said: ‘I’m honoured to announce Australia’s own, who is the loveliest person, both inside and out, the beautiful and incredibly talented miss Delta Goodrem.

‘I haven’t picked a team for Saturday. I do know a bit about footy, I saw the Swans’ semi-final and I thought it was an incredible advert for the sport. 

‘I did open the World Cup and that was quite scary to do. 

‘That was a big deal. This is Australia so I’ll be more relaxed. I love the MCG, I’m honoured to be part of it, honoured to be playing it.’

‘The rest of the world deserves to know about this sport because it’s easy to get hooked.’ 

The singer confirmed he will perform at the halftime show at the after AFL’s Executive General Manager Kylie Rogers told him he’s the ‘greatest performer in the world’. 

‘You are the greatest performer in the world and we are the greatest game. We should do something together,’ Rogers reportedly said to the star backstage after An Evening with Robbie at at Rod Laver Arena in May, The Herald Sun reported.

That opened a discussion that led to the pop star finally accepting the job.

Robbie confirmed the good news of his impending performance in July.

‘I am so excited to be performing for all the fans, on the hallowed turf of the MCG, for the biggest game of the year,’ he said in a statement.

‘I can’t wait to see you all on that last Saturday in September,’ the Let Me Entertain You hitmaker added.

G Flip, Temper Trap, Goanna, and footy anthem troubadour Mike Brady are also set to support Williams at the AFL Grand Final, The Herald Sun has reported.
