Sam, who wore a pair of black rounded glasses, was fully engaged in conversation as they strolled near their pal as they headed towards Regents Park.

Sam wore their hair in a slick spiked style and sported a distinguished smattering of stubble.

The duo were earlier seen picking up a hot beverage at a takeaway establishment before going on with their outing.

Sam’s outing comes as their company has seen cash drop by nearly £7million during the singer’s time out of the spotlight.

In newly filed accounts for their main company – Sam Smith World – the balance has dropped from £7.1million to £313,000 from 2018-2019, reports The Sun.

Last year, Sam whose most recent album Love Goes charted at number two back in November after a three-year gap between compilations, landed at number eight on the Sunday Times Rich Young Musicians list, with a personal fortune of £33million.

Mailonline has contacted Sam Smith’s representatives for comment.

Meanwhile, during a recent interview with CBS This Morning, the singer spoke about identifying as non-binary and their choice to use they/them pronouns.

Speaking about the decision, Sam said: ‘I honestly, I can’t express to enough people how much courage it’s taken. I wasn’t prepared for the amount of ridicule and bullying, really, that I’ve experienced.

‘I mean, honestly, the comments and the types of things that I have to answer and walk through every day is very, very intense.’

Sam also discussed how gender had impacted their life and attempted to explain what being non-binary meant when prompted during the interview.

The Too Good At Goodbyes singer explained: ‘Gender, for me, has been nothing but traumatising and challenging throughout my life… I just feel like myself. I don’t feel like a man.’

Sam also reflected on how difficult the lead-up to coming out was, saying that the months preceding the announcement really impacted their mental health.

‘2019 for me was a fight with my mental health. For the first time ever I started to get panic attacks and feeling anxiety,’ Sam said.
