Selena Gomez had every reason to celebrate on Wednesday (Sept. 2), following the official launch of her hotly-anticipated cosmetics brand Rare Beauty.
“IT’S HERE!!” the burgeoning beauty maven wrote on Instagram, sharing that the line is now available at Sephora stores across North America before telling fans, “I’m so excited for you to finally try it!”
In a separate post, Gomez expressed her gratitude following the launch of Rare Beauty into the world. “SO EXCITED though I wish we could celebrate in person,” the singer captioned a sweet snap cuddling her dog while surrounded by pink, blush, brown and rose gold balloons. “Thank you to my amazing team at @rarebeauty and our community! This is just the beginning!!!”
Throughout the majority of the year, the fledgling brand has been hard at work to get off the ground after Gomez announced its creation in February. One month later, Rare Beauty hit pause on a planned community campaign due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Then, on the pop star’s 28th birthday in July, the makeup company announced the formation of its Rare Impact Fund. Through the initiative, Rare Beauty plans to raise $100 million to provide crucially-needed mental health services to underserved communities affected by the worldwide health crisis.
