Serena Williams admits she doesn’t know how Meghan Markle left Archie at home for trip to New York

Serena Williams has publicly thanked Meghan Markle for making the trip to New York to watch her US Open final, even though it meant leaving baby Archie at home.

Last week, Meghan, 38, made her first solo trip since the birth of her son, to cheer on Serena, 37, as she took on Canadian star Bianca Andreescu in the final.

Speaking to E News at her New York Fashion Week show, Serena told how much her friend’s support had meant – and admitted she doesn’t know if she could have left her own daughter at home when she was that age.
