On Monday the former Playboy cover girl shared images to Instagram where she was at work on a large canvas using bright colors.

‘Welcome to my studio,’ the mother of three wrote in her caption as she wore a white shirt, black shorts and socks while painting.

The room was large with high ceilings. There was a table behind her with several bottles of paint as well as tissues and brushes.

Soon after she shared a slideshow of photos, some images featuring her work. One painting was called Blue. ‘LOVEEEEEE,’ she noted in her caption.

She has been documenting her painting skills all year long.

In March 2021, the movie star showed off progress she made on a watercolor painting she was working on after telling her Instagram followers.

She said she was giving the hobby a try on a larger scale.

And one day later, Stone showed off the completed stunning artwork she made – revealing that she painted the impressive piece with makeup brushes.

The legendary actress called the piece ‘Mother Earth’ as she thanked makeup brand Iconic London for their brushes.

The stunning artwork featured a sky detail with rolling hills and a rocky terrain.

Sharon captioned it: ‘OK NOW I really did finish it. Done: Mother Earth.’

She added: ‘I’d like to thank @iconic.london make-up brushes. I used them on this painting.’

One day prior, Sharon shared the progress of her painting as she worked on it, with the first image what it looked like.

She wrote: ‘Giving large scale watercolors a try. 1. 2/28 I worked on it some more. I think it’s better now. 2. 2/27.’

After showing her impressive artwork, the multi-talented star shared an adorable snap of her dog Bandit Stone and his girlfriend Abby.

This new post comes weeks after Stone encouraged her followers to seek second opinions after she said a ‘large fibroid tumor’ was found in her body after a previous medical misdiagnosis.

Stone took to Instagram in early November with a personal message about her health, saying she ‘just had another misdiagnosis and incorrect procedure,’ and went for ‘a double epidural’ to treat pain she was in.

The Oscar nominee said that amid ‘worsening pain,’ she went for a second opinion from a different doctor that revealed she has ‘a large fibroid tumor that must come out.’

The Specialist star advised to her 3.4 million followers, ‘Ladies in particular: Don’t get blown off. GET A SECOND OPINION. It can save your life.’

Stone said she would be ‘down for 4-6 weeks for full recovery,’ and thanked fans for their care, adding, ‘It’s all good.’

The Sliver actress has past spoken publicly about her health issues, as she said in her 2021 autobiography The Beauty of Living Twice that in 2001, benign tumors were removed from her body that she described as ‘gigantic’ and ‘bigger than my breast alone.’

She said that in the wake of the medical procedure, a plastic surgeon gave her larger breast implants that she had consented to in a breast reconstruction surgery following the removal of the tumors.

Stone also dealt with a stroke and cerebral hemorrhage in 2001, when she was 43-years-old.

Appearing on the Today show in March of 2021, Stone shared details of the critical moments as she was hospitalized and a doctor told her she had nearly died.

‘The room was so silent,’ Stone said. ‘When the room is so silent and no one’s running around trying to fix you, that’s when you realize how near death is and how serious everything is.’

Stone would go on to recover, but she said that the stroke impacted her career and the way she was treated by others.

‘People treated me in a way that was brutally unkind,’ she told Variety in 2019. ‘From other women in my own business to the female judge who handled my custody case, I don’t think anyone grasps how dangerous a stroke is for women and what it takes to recover – it took me about seven years.’

She added: ‘I had to remortgage my house. I lost everything I had. I lost my place in the business. I was like the hottest movie star, you know? It was like Miss Princess Diana and I were so famous – and she died and I had a stroke. And we were forgotten.’

Earlier this year, Stone also revealed has lost nine children by miscarriage.

The actress – who is the mother of three sons Roan, 22, Laird, 17, and Quinn, 16, through adoption – insists women are made to feel that losing a baby is ‘something to bear alone and secretly with some kind of sense of failure’.

In an Instagram comment, she wrote: ‘We, as females don’t have a forum to discuss the profundity of this loss. I lost nine children by miscarriage. It is no small thing, physically nor emotionally yet we are made to feel it is something to bear alone and secretly with some kind of sense of failure. Instead of receiving the much needed compassion and empathy and healing which we so need. Female health and wellness left to the care of the male ideology has become lax at best, ignorant in fact, and violently oppressive in effort.’

What are fibroid tumours?

Fibroid tumours are growths that develop in or around the womb.

The growths, which are non-cancerous in 99 per cent cases, are made up of muscle and fibrous tissue and vary in size.

Many women don’t know they have fibroids because two in three don’t suffer any symptoms.

Those that do show signs of fibroids may suffer heavy or painful periods, tummy pain, lower back pain, a need to pass urine frequently, constipation and pain or discomfort during sex.

In rare cases, complications can affect pregnancy or cause infertility.

Between 20 to 50 per cent of women aged 16 to 50 are thought to have fibroids at any one time.

And around three-quarters will develop fibroids at some point during these reproductive years.

But only a third are large enough to be spotted by doctors during a physical exam.

Doctors don’t know why fibroids develop. But they think the growths are linked to the female reproductive hormone oestrogen, with levels at their highest during reproductive years.

They tend to shrink when oestrogen levels are low, such as after the menopause, so aren’t treated unless they are causing symptoms.

Treatment includes drugs to ease discomfort and shrink the growths, or surgery if these don’t work.
