Spanish WAGS enjoy a night out before the team’s Qatar World Cup quarter-final match against Morocco

Ready to Olé! Glamorous partners of Spain’s squad enjoy a night out before the team’s World Cup quarter-final match against Morocco

They’ve been supporting their footballing partners throughout their Qatar World Cup run – but it appears Spain‘s WAGS needed a little time for themselves this week.

The glamorous girlfriends and wives enjoyed a night out in Doha ahead of the squad’s quarter-final match against Morocco today.

Beatriz Espejel, the wife of Atletico Madrid star Koke, took to Instagram to share a group photograph of the WAGS enjoying their evening together.

Dressed in all their finery, the eleven partners put on a stylish display when dining out in Qatar’s capital, at the Spanish restaurant Tatel Doha, where a T-bone steak costs around £220.

WAGS in attendance included Romarey Ventura, Elena Galera, Alice Campello and Daphne Canizares, partners of Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets, Alvaro Morata and Dani Carvajal.

Pau Torres’ girlfriend Paula Batet was also featured in the snap, alongside Pablo Sarabia’s partner Carmen Mora, and Marco Asensio’s other half Sandra Garal.

Marta Marchena, girlfriend of Carlos Soler, and Marcos Llorente’s partner Patricia Charlotte also attended, as well as Sira Martinez – girlfriend of Ferran Torres and daughter of manager Luis Enrique.

Lavish restaurant chain Tatel has branches in Madrid, Ibiza, Beverly Hills and Mexico City.

The WAGS will today show their support for the team in the stands as they watch Spain play against Morocco at the Education City Stadium, one of the purpose-built arenas for this tournament based in Doha.

Morocco have navigated their way into the last-16 against the odds – having won a tricky group featuring Belgium and Croatia – though unfortunately for them they’ve still been handed a tough knockout tie against Spain.

Luis Enrique’s men could only come second in their Group E as Japan stunned them by finishing first – and Hakim Ziyech and Co will be confident that their esteemed opponents are beatable.

Spain sent fear into their World Cup rivals by demolishing Costa Rica 7-0 in their opening clash, but since then they’ve stuttered as they drew 1-1 to Germany and then were beaten 2-1 by Japan.

Morocco, on the other hand, were unbeaten in Group F as they drew 0-0 with Croatia and then beat Belgium 2-0 and saw off Canada 2-1.

These two teams last played each other in the 2018 World Cup group stages, with that match finishing 2-2.
