She topped the leader board with an incredible score of 25 on Saturday night’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing with her partner Gorka Márquez.

And Maisie Smith was seen leaving the studio following her showstopping Tango, followed by the ballroom show’s head make-up artist Lisa Armstrong.

The EastEnders star, 19, was still sporting her glamorous show make-up as she hopped behind the wheel of her car to head home.

Maisie had changed out of her dazzling black ballroom gown and switched into a beige and black plaid shirt, while accessorising with a pair of gold hoop earrings.

The soap star, who plays Tiffany Butcher in the show, also kept her hair in a stylish up do, which featured a chic plait down the centre of her parting.

Meanwhile, Lisa, 44, ensured she put her safety first as she sported a floral face mask while jumping in the back of a car to take her back home.

Other stars who were spotted heading home included professional dancer, Oti Mabuse, 30, who earned a score of 24 after impressing the the judges with her Quickstep with celeb partner Bill Bailey, 55.

Nadiya Bychkova, who missed out on a celebrity partner this year, made a glamorous exit from the show in a grey jumper and plaid jacket.

She opted for an elegant curled hairstyle and full face of make-up, including a slick of deep red lipstick.

Her performance was so impressive that fans tipped her for the BBC show’s grand final, with one even asking: ‘Shall we just give her the glitterball now?’

The second round of the competition saw the flame-haired beauty pull out all the stops to impress the judges and audience at home with the fiery routine choreographed by professional dancer Gorka, 30. 

And it seemed it was mission accomplished as Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, and Motsi Mabuse scored highly, with Maisie and Gorka bagging two eights and a nine.

Craig, who awarded her an 8, said: ‘The pivots need to be on the heel, you lost balance and footing right at last minute but I’ve got to say you’re an exceptional dancer! That was full of staccato moments, I loved it.’

Shirley was also happy with the performance, giving Maisie and 9 and saying: ‘I thought you were very well poised.. it’s week two! Beautiful footwork, you kept postural position very well. You’re definitely a force to be reckoned with!’

And Motsi also flooded the EastEnders star with praise as she said: ‘Maisie has the power and more! To do a ballroom dance from the beginning and be in hold almost entirely, that takes it a nudge up. Stay in your level – very well done.’

Confident Maisie told Claudia after the performance that she’s not the biggest fan of the slower routines, as she struggles not smiling. However she added that she was ‘pleased’ the judges liked her routine.

Fans at home liked the routine also and rushed to Twitter to shared their comments.

‘Maisie has to be in the final, that was incredible,’ gushed one viewer.

While another declared: ‘Maisie’s tango was incredible she looks so stunning in the dress she got her first 9 she smashed it again wow!’

‘Hot s**t! Maisie is absolutely incredible! Shall we just give her the glitterball now?!’ tweeted a third impressed fan.

The judges scores from this week and last week will be combined, giving the celebrities a total score as they face the viewers vote next week.

His score is a huge 9 point jump from last week’s 15 out of 30.

Over at the bottom of the leaderboard, former politician Jacqui Smith and partner Anton Du Beke are languishing at the bottom with just 12 points scored this week and 13 points last week.

Strictly Come Dancing’s results show airs Sunday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
