Nancy showed off her toned physique in a floor length denim skirt and tiger print backless crop-top, which wrapped around her slim waist.

Carlos kept things casual in slate grey trousers and a dusty blue jumper, while adding a pop of colour with a red splash on his Converse.

Nancy’s social media reveals she is in a long-term romance with Italian performer Mikee Introna Michele, with her latest Instagram post with the hunk uploaded just two days go.

Nancy – who joined Strictly in 2019 – was first given a celeb partner in 2021, when she was paired with Rhys Stephenson and the duo narrowly missed out on making the show’s final.

Nancy had previously appeared as a pro on the Chinese version of So You Think You Can Dance? and also took to the stage in the Broadway and West End versions of Burn The Floor.

A specialist in Latin, she was also a finalist in the U21 World Championships in 2010, took third place in the 2010-2012 CBDF National Amateur Latin Championships and was a runner up at the 2013 International Singapore Championships.

In early July, it was announced that Chinese National Champion Carlos Gu would be joining the Strictly line-up of pro dancers.

He said at the time: ‘I’m thrilled to join Strictly and very excited to get started. It’s a new chapter of my life and a new challenge as well. I’m absolutely ready to take on this journey and to shine.’

The three other new world class dancers completing this year’s professional troupe are European cup winner Vito Coppola, former Under 21 British National Champion Lauren Oakley and Latin dance champion Michelle Tsiakkas.

Now that four new pro dancers have joined the line-up, it means that 20 professionals in total are ready to bring their skills to the BBC show’s dancefloor later this year.

They join the professional dancers already revealed for the upcoming series: Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington and Nancy Xu.

Show favourites Alijaz Skorjanec and Oti Mabuse both quit Strictly Come Dancing earlier this year.

Not every pro dancer will be paired with a celebrity with four traditionally performing only in the pro routines.

The upcoming series will be the first in three years to be broadcast without Covid measures, which forced bosses to introduce restrictions including ‘bubbles’ for training and limited audience numbers.

Strictly Come Dancing returns for its 20th series this autumn on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
