Despite her recent romance woes, the former EastEnders star, 27, looked in good spirits as she made a triumphant return to Strictly a year on from her win.

Joining Claudia and Giovanni on the sofa ahead of their comeback dance, Rose told how it was ‘lovely’ to be back on the show while expressing her shock that it had been a whole year since she first took part.

She added that training for her return dance with Giovanni made her realise how much she ‘missed’ training with him, while the Italian hunk added that the few hours they danced together once again was ‘magical’.

The dance was set to Alicia Keys’ hit song Fallin’ which incorporated the use of sign language in the routine.

And as the duo glided across the dancefloor with ease, fans became emotional at seeing the magic the pair created once again.
