Many people balk at the idea of putting decorations up until the early weeks of December, but the mother Britain’s biggest families is preparing early.

Mother-of-22 Sue Radford is tackling the festive season head-on and has already put up and decorated three Christmas trees, five weeks early.

So far, she has put on one tree in the family pie shop, one in the family living room and another in their kitchen.

Taking to Instagram, Sue, from Lancashire, shared the family’s Christmas trees, which are decorated with red leaves, baubles and ferns.

The tree in the living room also adorns festive white and red baubles plus checked bows draped around its branches.

Surrounding the Christmas tree Sue and her children have added white snowmen, whilst family dog Mabel was snapped sitting next to the other tree in the family home, which was decorated with white pinecones and festive decorations.

The third tree at the Radford’s Pie Company, was a more elegant affair dressed in minimal red and white baubles, with a scarlet covering surrounding its base.

The Radfords caught the public’s attention as Britain’s biggest family in 2012 on a Channel 4 documentary 15 Kids and Counting, which followed their lives at home, getting through mountains of washing and food shopping.

Many new series on the family have aired since then, and the most recent was 22 Kids and Counting, which aired in May this year.

The large family does not rely on benefits and support themselves financially with their pie shop, which saw a boom of business over lockdown.
