Here is the terrifying moment a Georgia woman is caught in a tornado while driving home from the dentist’s office.

The intense footage was filmed from the dashboard of Stephanie Dubberly’s car on January 12 as the southern state was lashed with severe storms and tornados.

In the clip, the weather around Dubberly can be seen seriously deteriorating as rain batters down on the roadway and trees begin bowing in the wind. Visibility dropped to nearly zero, and Stephanie could be heard desperately calling her husband Duncan and asking him what to do as an EF-3 tornado passed close by.

At least seven devastating storms crashed through Georgia last Thursday, with tornados touching down in six counties and killing at least nine people across the south. Stephanie, who was driving in the town of Griffin when the tornado passed through, said it was ‘scariest moments of my life.’

In the clip, Dubberly can be seen struggling to drive down a road as while the sky and view out her windshield is almost completely black.

Calling her husband Duncan, Stephanie can be heard saying ‘Oh my god,’ to herself as she labors down the road in her car.

Pulling onto another road, her husband pics up and she says ‘Duncan, oh my god, I think it’s – huh!’ before stopping her sentence short in terror.

At that moment the tops of the trees lining the road began to bend almost horizontally over the road as the wind severely accelerated.

Continuing down the empty road Stephanie continues to panic, and visibilty drops to near zero.

‘No I’m not okay,’ she tells her husband, ‘I don’t know what to do!’ It’s , like, right on top of me!’

Duncan then suggested she go down into the dentist’s office basement, to which she replies in hysterics, ‘I’m not in the dentist’s office! I was trying to go home!’

‘Oh my god, Duncan, there’s, like, trash barrels flying everywhere,’ she said. I can’t see the road, Duncan I don’t know where to go!’

Stephanie made it out of the ordeal unscathed, and said she ‘lucky to have not been injured.’
