Footage showed the moment three Florida teens woke up to find a stranger lurking at the foot of their bed while at a father-daughter retreat.

The teens were staying in a cabin at the Circle F dude ranch in Lake Wales when one woke up to find a man right by her bed at 4am on November 4. One of them decided to record the man ‘in case they were killed.’

Camp employee Raul Mora-Yanez, 25, was seen in the video hunched over near the bed in an alien hoodie before hiding under the bed and eventually fleeing.

‘I’m scared,’ one teen said in a phone call to her dad, who was staying in a cabin across the campsite. ‘My hands are shaking.’

The girls can be heard in the video screeching as Mora-Yanez moved around. He fled the cabin before any of the dads arrived.

Mora-Yanez was later arrested by Polk Sheriff deputies and charged with burglary after police identified him through the video, according to Local 10. He said that he had been drinking and thought the cabin was empty.

He was released on a $25,000 bond on November 7, police told DailyMail.com. Mora-Yanez is scheduled to appear in court on December 13.

Circle F dude ranch wasn’t immediately available for a comment.

The girls and their fathers were at the camping site for the Indian Princess bonding program when the incident unfolded.

In the video, the girls appeared to be cuddled together three beds away from Mora-Yanez as he slowly moved.

The girls were recording his every move with a large light flashed on him, but he didn’t seem to mind.

‘Is the front door unlocked? one of the fathers asked while on the phone.

‘Yeah, yeah, there… can you come in,’ she responded.

Mora-Yanez had moved from the side of the bed to under the bed before later rolling out and leaving through the cabin door before the father arrived.

The girl can then be heard on the phone saying: ‘Dad, dad! He just left.’

When deputies arrived, Mora-Yanez said the door was unlocked, but police later found that it wasn’t.

Since Mora-Yanez was an employee, he had a key to the cabin.

He was arrested, and his phone was confiscated. But he was later released on a bond and given back his phone.

Along with being an employee at the camp, Mora-Yanez was also a former camper.

‘Raul is a good kid who has been affiliated with the Circle F Ranch since 2009 as a camper or staff counselor,’ Mora-Yanez’s attorney, Brett Schwartz, told the news outlet.

‘As a father myself, I understand the parents’ anxiety. However, like the allegations, it is based solely on presumptions, not facts. In a court of law, the latter is what matters.’

Attorney Eric Schwartzreich said that Mora-Yanez’s release was concerning, especially since he was given back his phone that may have had evidence.

‘It’s concerning, it’s frightening, it’s disturbing,’ Schwartzreich told the news outlet. ‘They have been emotionally traumatized.’

He added: ‘They had the phone after they made the arrest that night and they should [have] kept the phone and applied for a search warrant.’

Schwartzreich argued that Mora-Yanez’s intentions remained unclear and investigators should’ve done more immediately following the accident.

Mora-Yanez has no previous criminal record.
