The Bachelorette Season 16 with lead Clare Crawley is finally happening. ABC teases new photos and trailers almost every day; however, former Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis doesn’t seem happy to be featured in one.
What happened between Clare Crawley and Juan Pablo Galavis on ‘The Bachelor’?
During The Bachelor season 18, featuring Juan Pablo Galavis, Clare made it to the final two with fellow contestant, Nikki Ferrell. However, Crawley and Galavis had a disastrous last date. As the couple was landing in the helicopter, Galavis leaned over and whispered an obscenity in Clare’s ear.
“I’m shocked,” Clare said after the date. “He chose to tell me something that no woman wants to hear. That he doesn’t know me and some sexual thing I don’t want to repeat. It was insulting, and it was offensive.”
What did he whisper in her ear?
“He said, ‘I love f—ing you, but I don’t know you,’” a source told Us Weekly.
Crawley broke it off with Galavis in a clip that is played repeatedly since the hairstylist was announced as the new lead.
“I thought I knew what kind of man you were —what you just made me go through, I would never want my children having a father like you,” she said.
What does Juan Pablo Galavis think of being included in ‘The Bachelorette’ promo?
Since Crawley telling off Galavis tops the list of most memorable moments in the franchise, it is often used by ABC. The clip is included in the latest trailer for The Bachelorette, and Galavis had something to say about it on Twitter.
“Interesting PROMO of Clare Crawley and the season of [The Bachelorette on ABC],” Galavis tweeted. “6 years LATER and I know WHO is the Juan that can’t get OVER Juan… Would LOVE if you take a GUESS?” “PS: Clare got over LONG time ago, just in CASE…”
Fans point out that the former Bachelor used his name as a pun for “the one,” so it was an interesting play on words. However, the cryptic tweet left fans as confused as ever.
Who is Galavis talking about in his tweet?
“Amy, what does this mean?” one journalist asked.
Author of New York Times best seller Bachelor Nation replied, “Your guess is as good as mine.”
The tweet could be referencing ABC and The Bachelorette franchise since they continually use clips from his season to promote Crawley. However, as a few fans pointed out, it makes sense for the producers to bring Galavis back into the picture so that viewers can remember what season Crawley was on.
At least he knows that Crawley is over his drama.
